Tree Coatstand
Based on the concept of how people interact with their natural surroundings - hanging clothes on a tree - a natural hanger. Photos were taken of the tree from 2 angles, a 3D object and created a flat reference to it’s 3dimensionality. As well, the designers realized that apart from placing a tree in the dwelling area, an appropriate form, both aesthetically and functionally was crucial in this products development. Relationships of : Materials, proportions, angles were extensively explored and refined.
