Constantinos Economides was a member of the Draw Collective studio and a designer and co-founder of the ME Design Studio, which was set up with Daniel Meyer in Germany in 2016. Parallel to this, he runs his own design studio in Nicosia, Cyprus, creating household products, installations and interior spaces.
Constantinos graduated with an MA Industrial Design, at the Central Saint Martins. His work has been featured in international exhibitions in London, Valencia, Athens, Hamburg and Milan. Moreover he received international acclamed awards such as the D&AD and German Design Award Winner 2018.
Moreover, he has collaborated with leading and influential designers such as the Campana Brothers and Michael Sodeau. He has also been a frequent participant and alumni at the Boisbuchet Summer Workshops in France, a cooperation with the Centre Georges Pompidou and the Vitra Design Museum.
One of his latest projects include the creation of the ΦΧΨ (fihipsi) Heritage design team, initiated by the curator Yianna Tsolaki and designer, Marios Charalambous. The team focuses on creating a visual and literally impact on aspects of heritage. The team’s project, Worship Container was awarded a Finalists Award as a runner up for the Grand Award at the first Larnaca Bienalle in 2018.
