Between 2008 and 2011, Constantinos participated as both designer and instructor in a workshop led by Elina Axioti, operating as a sub-studio of the Campana Brothers in collaboration with YES! Hotels. The project focused on the redesign of the historic Olympic Palace Hotel near Syntagma Square — later reborn as New Hotel.
Working closely with Fernando and Humberto Campana, a small team of designers explored the reuse and reinterpretation of local materials and cultural fragments — a process deeply rooted in the Campanas’ philosophy of transformation and reinvention. Through experimentation, they produced prototypes and furniture pieces that merge craft, intuition, and narrative.
Among these, the “Ladder Chair”, produced in a limited series of eighty pieces, inhabits every room of the hotel. The “Boxed Armchairs” define the restaurant area, while the “Hanger” and “Newspaper Chairs” remain as conceptual studies — objects that bridge memory, place, and material authenticity.
The project celebrates design as a dialogue between heritage and modernity — where reuse becomes creation, and craft becomes storytelling.
