Nicosia Map Container
I was born and raised in Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus. This city offered me memories with family and friends while growing up. However, Nicosia still remains the only divided capital in the world. Living in a divided city, and not being able to visit its occupied site, scarred moments throughout my childhood.
The divided map of Nicosia, becomes the lit of a cylindrical container box. A box that can be used for positioning sentimental and cherished objects such as jewellery, making thus an object that will carry sentimental values when used, just like the divided Nicosia city did while growing up…
