Candi Chair
The Candi Chair explores balance between structure and softness, precision and flow. Wooden slats, shaped and spaced with care, rest upon a slender metal frame, each element distinct, yet dependent on the other.
Through repetition and rhythm, the form invites both tension and release. The wood flexes gently, adapting to the body, while the metal frame anchors the composition, a quiet dialogue between material honesty and human comfort.
A project proposal for Herth Kurr, a german manufacturing company to develop an outdoor chair.
